HUNTING RIFLE M85 – MINI MAUSER

The M85 hunting rifle was created on the basis of the traditional Mauser locking system, which Zastava proudly uses in the production of its bolt-action rifles. This model, known as the Mini Mauser, is perfect for hunters who use lower energy ammunition but don’t want to deviate from the legendary reliability and balance of the 1898 military rifle.

The barrel of this rifle is made of chrome-vanadium steel using the cold forging method – a technology that ensures superior precision, durability and retention of accuracy through years of use.

made of carefully selected walnut wood with a rubber recoil pad to reduce recoil and an elegant wooden grip cap.

Safety is at a high level thanks to the reliable lever-type safety that blocks the trigger system.

Iron sights come as a standard, and the rifle stock has factory-made, bolt-protected threads for Picatinny rail mounting.

There are two versions of trigger mechanism:

• Single trigger
• Single DAT trigger (pre-triggering by pushing the trigger forward, after which the trigger pull is low)

Chambered in .22 HORNET, the M85 uses a detachable magazine, which further contributes to ease of handling and loading speed.

Surface treatment includes bluing of metal parts and oiling and polishing of wooden surfaces, which further emphasizes the elegance and protection of the weapon.
